Locus Mortis bring an unusual blend to the Black Metal front. With syncopated rhythms and dark landscapes the Italian trio opens the gates for many comparisons with other contemporaries; however the primary reference point for most would be summoning. “Voust” and "Inter Uterum Et Loculum" has a thawing ethereal presence filled with color and texture, although its brightest passages thrive on distorted discordance and powerful percussive breakdowns.
